Pink Floyd is a classic rock band that began around 1964. People associated with the band include Syd Barret, Roger Waters, Richard Wright, Nick Mason, and David Gilmour. With the exception of Syd Barret, Roger Waters is the mastermind behind the lyrical talent of the band. Pink Floyd's music mostly deals with feelings and emotions more than a definite meaning. Some of their albums include the following: The Dark Side of the Moon, Meddle, Obscured By Clouds, The Wall, The Division Bell, Animals, Echoes, and so forth. Dark Side of the Moon is one of their more famous
albums and was a big turning point in their career. They established many more
fans after releasing the album and became literally exhausted for quite a time.
All together, they have sold over 140 million records world wide, perhaps
giving them the title of being one of the best classic rock bands of
the latest century.
