Introduction:
This interview was conducted by Deanna, with Paul Wilson, the technical support manager and applications developer of askSam Systems. I have always been acquainted with Paul, and I am aware of his knowledge of computers and the Internet. askSam Systems is a software company that develops database and publishing tools.

What is your job title and position?
Technical support manager and applications developer of askSam Systems.

Why do you think the Internet is important to our society?
It enables our society to be a more well-rounded by allowing us to interact with other cultures.

How do you think the Net affects our youth, and our future?
I think the youth of today will be more knowledgeable about the world as a whole, and hopefully this will make us more tolerant and understanding towards people of other societies and cultures in the future.

What does the Web mean to you, personally?
To me, the web is a a way to meet new people and learn about their societies. It also allows me to look up topics I am interested in and study them.

How do you use the Net to your advantage?
I do development for web-based applications, so the Net is necessary for my success as a developer.

Do you have any additional comments?
The web is a great tool that can be used in many different ways. One can learn about new things and places or present their services and programs to people who would not hear about them otherwise.
