Deanna's World: By Hulk
"Oh, how tough is the science of HTML!
How to make links and buttons and pics -- who can tell?"
All is easy and fast in a computer age:
Go and visit Deanna and check out her page!
No one listed as many incredible rules --
You will be HTML Master at once with those tools.
"I am bored and upset, I've no friends, my life stinks!"
Ask Deanna: she knows of so many chat links.
You will 'chat' night and day -- friends all over the place:
Did you say you were bored? Now this isn't the case!
"How 'bout me? I would like to get into a school -
But I know so damn little: they'll think I'm a fool!"
Can you handle your Netscape? Then there is a way:
At Deanna's, you'll learn all you need in a day!
But the best thing about her: she does not forget
Us -- poor amateur poets who write for the Net!

I find your intelligence down right amazing. You are without a doubt the most
intellectually oriented person I've met online while surfing through
the endless dregs of personal sites in my six or so years of Internet
experience. When I found your Web site, I had trouble believing that it was really
a personal Web site, I had never seen such a calm and expansive page
before that didn't belong to a dot com. As I began exploring it though, it took on
a personality and conveyed to me a sense of who the webmaster was and I
knew that you were no ordinary person. I knew this even before I ever set
foot on your place in cyberspace because I reached your page from your yahoo
profile and I immediately took note of the quote you picked. Being a big fan
of Sir Francis Bacon quotes myself, I had to stop by your homepage. I'm glad
I did, your page really inspired me. Congratulations. - Danar

I saw you on Knowledge TV and I think you are a great role model for young people. You have such a wide variety of interests! I hope my five year old daughter will grow up to be a "Renaissance Girl" like you. (She likes classical music, the computer, and gymnastics too!). - Nancy

Dear Deanna, My complements on a wonderful site. The beauty and refinement leaves a deep imprint. Your boyfriend is an extremely fortunate person to have someone like you by his side. My best wishes to you both. - Sreeshant Madhavan

Hi Deanna. I'm taking Eliza Dresang's Radical Change class at the University of Wisconsin. Thanks again for being a guest speaker with us this morning. Thanks especially for sharing your methods and sources for
web design tools. Your site (and also Ryan's "Hideaway") are wonderful examples of good design.
Are there other sites that you designed that I could look at? You've given me insights on relating to my children. "The first time children can do something that their parents didn't do while growing up." I had a hint that I should let them teach me what they know without jumping in to "help". My help has mostly been worthless for the last two or more years! I liked your comment, "The Internet doesn't make you smarter: your usage of Internet is what makes you smarter." That applies to any 'tool' we can find: books, teachers, parents, friends, video, etc. And most important to me as a mother and school library media specialist (currently looking for my first job) are to "be open minded about what kids have to say" and "children have impact on present as well as future." Thanks also to Ryan. You are a talented, well spoken pair! - Jeri

Hi Deanna. I read about you in Focus magazine, and I decided to search for your site
on the Internet. I was absolutely astounded at what I came across, and even moreso amazed
that you are only 16. You have accomplished so much already at a young age, you should be very proud of yourself. If you ever want to translate your Web site to other languages, please contact me. Best wishes. - Gerald

I was just looking for an earlier sight, and I just happened to come upon yours, I cannot believe you're only
17 years old and have such a good grasp on, who you are and what is important in your life. I'm 35 and I'm just starting to get a grasp on life and what is important to me. I've wasted more than half my life going out with people partying and junk, and just recently stated going to church, because I've been feeling empty inside and I didn't have much of a direction with my life. I have four beautiful children who I love very much and I thought it was about time to grow up and find out who I was and what was important to me, and what I found out is that, my children are the most important. What I'm trying to say is that, I wish that I had as much insight as who I am, as you do at your age, then maybe I wouldn't have wasted so much of my life. You have a very beautiful web sight, and if it is a reflection of you heart, then you have a very big heart and a lovely one. God Bless you in what every you do. - Ronald W. Adams
-
Your age astounds me: your site opens with my favorite piece of music, Moonlight Sonata, your
two poems that impressed me the most, my favorites, by Edgar Allen Poe, you are amazing. Your site is incredible. You are incredible. Thank you so much for signing my book. All my best to you as you gain years so you will gain wisdom, how much more you can gather, only the heavens know. Take care and keep growing inwardly. - Francine

This is probably one of the best site I've seen. Deanna, I really appreciate the things you do. Not many
people can express their emotions they way they truly want to. And with your help, I find it easier to do so. Your thoughts and views makes a lot of sense, and it is very honest. Thank you. For those who happen to read this, please feel free to e-mail me anytime. I love to meet new people and getting to know them too. Okay, keep it up Deanna, best of luck to you and to all. Bye! - Lin Ekrami

Deanna, what an extremely great job, you have done. I love the rippling water and beautiful
background. Also the Emerson quote is inspiring. On an Internet with so many lackluster Web sites, yours is among the
best I've seen lately. I like the positive theme and great quotes. Keep up the great work! - Al

Because my name is also Deanna, a close co-worker back on 12-17-98 sent me a "Hey, I didn't know you had a Web site." Well I reopened your site yesterday and and it literally took my breath away. How you have grown and and your site reflects that so very much. Just wanted to share that with you. - Deanna Sabado
-
Just stumbled on this completely wonderful Web site after searching through "Renaissance". How beautiful,
how wonderful, how fascinating. I'll be back to explore fully. How can you fit so much into your life Deanna?
Truly impressed and entertained. It's a real treat to the senses. Thank you. - F.Aston

I enjoyed reading all the very different aspects of so many areas of human's feelings and emotions, as well as life in general. It gives myself a different perception of things that I never would of considered.
- Heather Carter

inside and out. Any guy would be honored to have a girlfriend like you. Keep up the great work. - Leo Brown

A beautiful site and inspirational, too. As a frustrated author, (never published!), I know that if I visit often, I will start my writing again. I have put your site among my favorites. - Ava South
-
I think your Web site is awesome. I can't believe you're only 17. This is the most professional site I've seen yet. - Mary Kiester

First of all, it was by happenstance that I ran across your Web site. The quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson and Starry Night by Van Gogh knocked by socks off, in that the movement of the painting and the carefully selected quote was truly an amazement, since I do not "surf the net" only for entertainment. I only happened to be searching for a special card for a friend, and there you were "Deanna's World." I'm sure you've heard it a thousand times. But, let me say to you, as an almost 60 year old female come August. I envy your extreme and unusual zest to incorporate the classics with the 21st century. You inspire me to continue to learn more and more and more. Your parents must be so proud of you, and most of all, you must be so proud of yourself. Thank you for such a lovely hit on what I love. My best wishes. - Linda Blitz from Portland, Oregon
-
You are an amazing young woman! Your Web site is beautiful and your writing is astounding for someone as young as you are: I wish you the best. - George Garland
-
Progression keeps your mind clear and it is lovely that you can be free to express yourself in a way that so many millions can not. Be healthy. Stay free. - Richie

Deanna, I discovered your homepage while I was in college and have since graduated with a
B.A. degree in Psychology/Gerontology. I am recently coming back to my old homepage on the net and find your link is about the only one left that works. Now I'm looking at your homepage I haven't seen in a couple of years, I grad in 1997, and see you have come so far. It also brings back good memories from when I was in college and would surf your page. Surfing your homepage was fun and got me away from everything else going on. Now I am inspired to update my own pitiful homepage. Good luck in college, make good grades, and get your Master's! - Sherilyn Allen
